G52 A light sapphire blue glass snuff bottle

Description

Description:  Chinese snuff bottle of light sapphire blue glass. Scattered bubbles in the glass. The large mouth, convex base and general features are pointing toward late 18^th / early 19^th century. Especially the shape is typical of Daoguang period.

Foot/base:  Protruded foot and convex base

Mark:

Dating:  Very late 18^th century / early 19^th century. Most probably Daoguang period.

Material:  Glass.

Size: 62 mm high

Stopper:  Rose quartz stopper with mother of pearl collar and bone spoon
