Description
IP24 A “Filial piety Tan Zi” snuff bottle, Yong Shoutian
Description: Chinese amber glass snuff bottle, painted inside by Yong Shoutian (active 1898 – 1926). It should be one of his earliest works, or a work from one of the students of his studio. The motif on this bottle is one of the 24 “Filial piety” stories of the Chinese Classic. The story here is called 鹿乳奉亲….. (Finding deer milk for the parent). For a full description of this motif see our ceramic bottle C26.
Mark: No marks
Material: Amber color glass
Size: 52 mm high
Stopper: Green jadeite stopper
