Description: Chinese snuff bottle of cylindrical form, decorated in overglaze iron red with a single, long dragon looking backwards and flying among clouds. The eyes of the dragon enhanced with black spots. Gilded rim.
Mark: Four characters Tongzhi printed mark, but later

Notes: The scales of this dragon are individually drawn, which is a feature usually seen on older bottles and of good quality. Nevertheless, here the scales are not oriented, as usual, toward the head of the dragon, but strangely toward the spine instead.
