QBW2 A “Pheasants perched on rocks” plate, Kangxi, Qing Dynasty

Description

Description:   Chinese Kangxi plate of thin potting, decorated with pheasants perched on rocks in very dark blue tone. On the background, peonies and magnolia branches. On the cavetto, four panels containing three peaches. Everything painted in the typical manner of the Kangxi period. A square shop mark on the back.

Dating:  18^th century, Kangxi period, Qing dynasty.

Size:  28 cm diameter
