Description: Chinese snuff bottle of compressed flask form. This is one of the most classical shapes for old snuff bottles, most of which are carved out from quartz stones of uniform color, so that the observer is not distracted by anything else and focuses only on the purity of the form.

Notes: Among the four bottles of this type in the collection, (S29, S30, S36 and S37), this is the best shaped and finished one. The foot, base and the transition part among them is simply outstanding. This is the reason for dating it to the 18th century. It is an exceptional bottle and for sure one of the finest bottles of the collection.
