Description
Description: Chinese botryoidal agate snuff bottle of slightly flattened, round form. This is a small bottle that falls within the category of our bottle S16 and others, which are apparently simple while are indeed characterized by an accurate choice of the stone, of the shape, and the hollowing. The agate of this bottle is of the botryoidal type, with round banded areas. Perfect hollowing, concave and wide mouth typical of old bottles. A pleasure to see in its apparently simplicity, and to handle.
