Description
Description: Chinese double snuff bottle decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with the same scene on both bottles. Despite the small size, the scene is representing a lake landscape with a fisherman before a small village, with a tree in the foreground and mountains on distant view, with a ladder and houses.
The scene is in Kangxi style as typical Kangxi are the frits at the edges of the glaze and the very smooth white paste; nonetheless the bottle should be prudently dated to the 19th century.
