Description
Description: Chinese agate snuff bottle of rectilinear flat square shape, with a flat raised panel on each side and grooved corners. On one of the panels there are three bands of mottled brown inclusion, which because of the shading are looking like a sequence of three mountain peaks, being the highest one surrounded by clouds. This cloud effect is due to a white inclusion that is highlighted under a certain angle of lighting. The last picture is showing three real peaks surrounded by clouds in a snow mountain valley of Yading National Nature Reserve, Daocheng County, Sichuan Province, China.
