S44 An exceptional botryoidal agate “Maquet style” snuff bottle

Description

Description:  Chinese foggy agate snuff bottle of botryoidal type of flattened oval form, with long ringed masks on the shoulders. The bottle has been transformed into cigarettes lighter in the style of the French jeweler Firm Maquet by some other, unknown jewelry firm. The elegant shaping and quality of finishing of this bottle are outstanding, making it one of the finest bottles of the collection.
